Prime Minister Narendra Modi commemorated the sacrifice of the 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel who lost their lives in the Pulwama terror attack on the fifth anniversary of the tragic incident. Remembering the brave soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice, PM Modi expressed that their dedication and service to the nation will always be cherished and honored.
The Pulwama attack occurred on February 14, 2019, when a convoy of 78 military vehicles was targeted by a suicide bomber, resulting in a devastating loss of lives. PM Modi, through his official social media handle, paid homage to the fallen heroes, underscoring their valor and commitment to the nation. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar echoed similar sentiments, acknowledging the courage of the soldiers and emphasizing the importance of remaining vigilant against cross-border terrorism.
